More pictures from Build a Bear

My last post was from my iphone so it was quick and without many details. Lotus got a wonderful gift certificate to Build a Bear workshop from Nate's childhood neighbors The Cole's. I had no idea what it was and we had to do a bit of research to figure out where it was located, but the internet has all that
information. Lotus allowed me to take her, which was so cool. It was our first lengthy mother/daughter outing since Lucian was born. I reallymiss hanging out with just her. She is so funny and well she can carry on a conversation as oppsed to our adorable lump Lucian.
When we arrived Lotus immediately picked out the pink unicorn. Since she has a tendency to chnage her mind often I made her look at all the other stuffed animals as well, but she stuck to her guns and the pink unicorn was what she wanted. She was a little concerned while we were standing in line to get the unicorn stuffed. She wanted to make sure that it didn't hurt them, so we watched a few other kids get their animals stuffed and then she was okay with it.
The people who work a Build a Bear are so perky and cute. Normally that would annoy me, but clearly I am a changed woman because it just made me smile. After "Pollie" got her stuffing we picked out several all pink outfits, which Lotus loved and I didn't even try to get her to explore other color hues.
Lotus now has a new best friend and we had a great day.

The other day I got Lucian out of the bath and was savoring his baby smell. She asked what I was doing. I told her I was smelling him because he smelt like baby. She gave him a sniff and agreed.
She then smelled herself and said, "I smell like big sister." Then she walked over to me and took a whiff and said, "you smell like mommy." She followed that by waltzing over to Nate and inhaled, "you smell like..." dramatic pause "stinky."
She'll be here all week, don't forget to tip your waitresses.
