A little funniness
The other day I was reading a story to the Lotus called "why don't you look like me". Its about a little girl who is adopted and is a little sad that she doesn't look like her parents. I asked her if it bothered her that she doesn't look like Nate or me. Matter of factly she answered, "no, because I look like Julie." Julie is the adorable fifth grader down the street that does look like she could be Lotus's older sister.
